If 'Sheed plays like he's supposed to, Detroit will be unstoppable. IMO, there are times when he coasts through games, and isn't selfish enough.

One last thing..cuz none of this means
anything until the games start, but I think
if Detroit and Boston were to meet in the
ECF,it would be one of the best series of
the last 10 years,maybe more...that's straight
out war.
See u soon

U better believe it, but I don't think it'll be as nasty as the Celtic-Pistons wars in the late 80s. There was genuine HATRED on both sides - it was an old-fashioned blood feud(Larry and Isiah still can't stand each other). smile

Good first day of the playoffs. A classic battle between the Spurs and Suns, and 3 other decent games.

Good road win for the Jazz! Time to get another and put the clamp down on the series!

The unsung hero for the Spurs was ol' crazy eyes, Kurt Thomas. Excellent job on the defensive end.

It was smart of Pop not calling a timeout on the Spurs' last possession of the second OT. That kept D'Antoni from inserting Shaq. I don't think Manu makes that shot with the Big Cactus coming at him.

The Pistons bench is SCARY. Maxiell's a beast, Theo Ratliff can still block anyone's shot, Stuckey, Afflalo and Lindsey Hunter can all score and provide defense, hell even our 12th Walter Hermann can take you to the hole or drop a three from half court.

Probably the deepest team in the league right now.

Joe Dumars may be a better GM than he was a player.

It might take 6 games within this 1st round series, but THIS team will sent those Mavericks home early.

Dallas just fell apart yesterday, plus CP3 KICKED major booty in that game.
Is it me or does Chris Paul look like that actor Mekhia Pheifer? (spelling?)

I don't know about all of that. But what I do know is that The Hornets are more dangerous team than some people think.

We didn't see most of the LA/DEN game in NY because of the f-n pope holding mass at Yankee Stadium. I was SO ticked off - f--k this sh!t, put the damn game on, ABC! By the time ABC went to the game, Lakers were in complete control.

Great job by Philly stealing one in Detroit. Pistons looked flat, and I thought Flip stayed with the reserves way too long. I've never been impressed with his coaching.

Credit to the Jazz. They got second-chance shots on almost every possession. The stats say the Jazz shot 50% from the field, but there are two parts to that. They shot probably 80% on offensive rebounds, and maybe 30% on shots from the field.

If the Rockets can keep them off the boards, we should be able to handle them.

Keep in mind 40% of the Rockets' starting lineup was out Saturday night. Yao ain't coming back, but Rafer is. It'll be a different game with Skip to My Lou in there. Too bad he won't be back until Game 3. Unless we do something really magical tonight, it'll take a rebirth of Clutch City to come back.

Rafer sux, trying to call out David West of my Hornets. Jazz whipped them with him and will do it once yet again this year!!
