Paul Pierce owned the fourth quarter. Those back-to-back threes turned the game around(combined with a tough Celtic defense). But comparing his coming back(after getting injured) to Willis Reed in the '70 Finals? Please.

confused It's too late for the Oscars but maybe we can get his over-actin' ass a Tony. hammer I could swear I heard him sobbing while he was layin' on the court. disbelief That shit was a hot mess.

I heard Doug Collins withdrew his name from the Bulls job. That would be a nice fit for Avery.

I hadn't heard that but I agree, I think he'd do well in Chicago. My question is why would they wanna dust off a mediocre relic like Collins when Avery is available? confuse

A couple of weeks ago you said you weren't following the Bosox either. Are you watching any of your teams this year? lol

I'm too busy with working full time and going to school. I'm pulling 16 hour days 4 days a week. Sucks!!!!

I usually don't get into baseball until at least half way through the season, there are so many games and it's boring most of the time! (Unless Coco starts throwing punches...)

Go Celtics! Got scary for a minute there.... whew

We just witnessed the biggest choke job in NBA playoff history. Blew a f--king 24-point lead. Dayum, and that Laker bench ain't sh!t. I'm not a fan of either team, but I despise Phil Jackson(from all the smack he was talking during those Knick-Bulls wars). What do you have to say NOW, Big Chief Triangle?

I don't really care who wins, but after Curt Schilling opened his big mouth, I'm rooting for the Lakers. Not that it looks like they will, but that's my team now. Schilling is enemy #1 to Yankees fans.

From USA Today:

Bryant to Boston ace Schilling: 'Go Yankees!'
By Beth Harris, AP Sports Writer

LOS ANGELES — Curt Schilling called out Kobe Bryant on the Boston Red Sox ace's blog for yelling at his Los Angeles Lakers' teammates in their Game 2 loss.

Schilling sat courtside in Boston wearing a Larry Bird jersey and flashing his World Series championship ring for TV cameras. He was within earshot of the Lakers' bench and made some observations on Bryant.

"He'd yell at someone, make a point, or send a message, turn and walk away, and more than once the person on the other end would roll eyes or give a 'whatever dude' look," Schilling wrote on his web site www.38pitches.com.

Asked if he was disappointed in Schilling's comments, Bryant responded, "Go Yankees!" and pumped his fist, drawing laughter from reporters Wednesday.

Schilling wrote that Bryant came to the bench angry at every timeout and "yelled about something they weren't doing, or something they did wrong. No dialogue about 'hey, let's go' or whatever." Schilling said Bryant's comments were peppered with expletives.

Bryant was unapologetic.

"After the time of all those bleeps, we almost pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in history," he said. "It seemed to motivate them pretty well."

The Lakers rallied from 24 points down in the fourth quarter to get within two before losing 108-102. They won Game 3 Tuesday night and trail the series 2-1.

Bryant said he doesn't worry that he's too hard on his teammates.

"They're used to it, and we all have thick skin around here," he said. "We're brutally honest with each other. We all love it."

Curt Schilling is a big fat oaf and should keep his mouth shut...and I'm a hard core Boston fan. His opinion means nothing.

May the best team win...this is some good fucking basketball, anything can happen.

I love watching Kobe at the free throw line and Kevin Garnett is right next to him. You can see alllll the shit Garnett is talking to him! I swear I made out from is lips, that ball's getting heavy, isn't it Kobe?

I LOVE watching the Celtics cause Garnett is one helluva INTENSE player.
