Basically, they already did. But expect to see him reunited with Coangelo in Toronto.

Avery Johnson - Next Bulls coach, watch.

The Jazz have been playing terribly lately. If they don't turn things around, they won't get past Houston, and should they advance, they better shape up, or they'll go down to the damn Lakers in 5 games or less! mad

The Hawks are showing some great heart! Nobody thought Atlanta would extend this game beyond maybe 5 games, and now they're preparing for a Game 7 in which they have nothing to lose. clapping

He got injured in the second half, and that's when Houston fell apart...

I still think Utah would have pulled out this series, but Rafter Alston is a legitimate starting PG- not an All-star or anything, but a decent PG.

I'm kind of glad that Utah opens the series on the road, strangely enough. If Utah can grab a win (or 2) in L.A. to start the series, they could potentially use that momentum to propel them to a commanding 3-1 series lead. The way the teams are playing, I think the Lakers might pull it off in 5 or 6, but if Utah finds its rhythm as it did tonight, L.A. will have a tough team on their hands.

Go Jazz!

They made their run in the first half. confuse

I highly doubt the Lakers will sweep. Maybe it's wishful thinking for the broom treatment the Jazz gave the Lakers the last time the two met in the playoffs. evillol

And why did they have to make a run? Because they were getting blown out.

Hats off to the Jazz. Losing Alston was, in fact, the key. But you've got to tip your hats to the Jazz, they came to play Friday night.

Kobe to win MVP - Looooong overdue:

http://www.latimes.com/sp...8282.story

It took 12 seasons, but Kobe Bryant has finally been selected the NBA's most valuable player, The Times has learned.

Sources familiar with the outcome who were not authorized to speak publicly about the award until the official announcement from the league said Commissioner David Stern will be in Los Angeles next week to present the trophy to Bryant.

The idea of Kobe Bryant as the most valuable player is laughable considering that the Lakers should not even employ him. Tell me another job where an employee can rip apart other co-workers in public and repeatedly chastise the management and stay employed. And it's not as if the Lakers were running away with the league before the Gasol trade. That gift from Memphis is what made them roll, so perhaps he should be the MVP.
