not to rain on the beautiful two faced baby parade or anything but i wonder about the kinds of health problems that she is going to face as she gets older. It's great that she's seen as a miracle and not a curse but the state of her health and her health care are going to be an on going issue. | |

Though the DL too does in theory have the Karmapa Lama and Panchen Lama, among others, almost as peers, if it weren't for the way he's become so politically minded and internationally prominent. In the western world, prenatal scans mean parents can opt out if this happens to them and they find out early enough, and in many other countries this child would be killed at birth due to superstitious beliefs (you hear what happens to albinos "ghosts", twins etc) those children are not spoken of, it is as if they were never born  | |
