Prayers for strength, courage and serenity UPDATE 25may Last Saturday my oldest brother had a sudden death cardiac arrest in front of his wife at a sidewalk cafe. CPR was started within 2 minutes, paramedics arrived within 5, they worked on him took him to the hospital and worked on him some more. They pronounced him but before they could notify the family a faint pulse was detected and he was put on a ventilator. After 72 hours there has been no change and last night I had to tell my 83 year old mother, who cannot travel, that they are going to remove him from life support today.
My brother is 66 years old, has children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters. He only has one mama though, and she can't go. I ask for your prayers for me and my family. UPDATE Wednesday night I just spoke with me sister in law, she has moved him to another hospital the doctors at the heart hospital stopped the sedation so now he is comatose on the ventilator. They are going to wait for a few days before they take him off the vent. Baby, I understand what this choice means. My family had to make it too. I am so very sorry to hear about this.
