Y'know when the stripper was killed all of those years ago, everyone I know all thought the same thing, of course it happened. With the details slowly coming out, it doesn't look good for Kwame. He was channeling some Coleman Young the other night though and he dodged some pretty big bullets so we'll see how this plays out.

The hypocrisy of the system where the mayor can purger himself and not be held accountable when it's costing a bankrupt city 8 million dollars is proof that anything could happen here. I've worked in Detroit Public Schools and I can tell you, they could have used the 8 mill. Then the arrogance to say "I'm not going anywhere", sorry jerkoff, that decision was made for you when you lied under oath and cost the city millions.

Detroit is always the punchline for jokes when it comes to how fucked-up things are, to me, this is a wake-up call to the people for change. If they let corrupt leaders run shit into the ground anymore like they have for the last 30 years, Detroit should be the punchline to every joke.

Saying there wasn't any parties at the Mayor home with stripper with the wife was gone and a stripper found dead (maybe)from the party and now people are speaking up about it that were former employees.
Steeling from the people of the city
Cheating on his wife and having the city pay for it.
Trying to make it look like this is a private affair with his family. Sorry dude, the minute you took the position you and your affairs become public!

I think he will eventually go down for racketeering for either this current case with the insider contracts to his friend or someone else. (I bet there's more than one.)

Kwame's list of lies/deceits 'n such...just my recollection.

1. Navigator-gate - His wife and family get hooked up with a tricked out Navigator, all at the expense of the city, a broke city.

2. Hook-Up Friends - He's hooked up his friends with construction jobs which are supposed to be bid upon by different contractors. Of course, his friends will bid below everyone else because they have an inside track.

3. The Affair - Christine Beatty, his employee, is known to have had an affair with him. She also has had work done (driveway) by this same friend of the mayors, at no cost to her. Being a public servant, this constitutes a conflict of interest because this same guy does work for the city.

4. The Party - He had a party at the Mayors mansion with strippers involved. His wife entered the mansion and caught him getting a lap dance. She took a baseball bat to the stripper. This is all alleged, however, my sister works at the hospital where the stripper, Strawberry, went to get examined at the emergency room. It happened.

5. MURDER - The stripper is shot down. Kwame has not been charged yet.

6. The Settlement - Two police officers were fired from their jobs. Apparently, they were investigating the party at the mansion and must have come too close to the truth. They filed a WHISTLEBLOWERS lawsuit, which was settled for $9 million. Yep, this is city money being paid out.

7. PERJURY - Kwame and Christine took the stand, under oath, during this trial and denied having had an affair (which was later confirmed through text messages). Clear cut case of perjury in an attempt to deceive the judge.

8. The Coverup - In an attempt to not disclose the affair, Kwame settled for $9million in the whistleblowers lawsuit. Him and his lawyers signed a confidentiality agreement with the police officers not to disclose any information (texts) which was obtained during the trial. But, because this was PUBLIC money being paid out, the judge ruled that EVERYTHING had to be disclosed. That's how the texts got out.

9 The "N" Word - Nevermind the fact that just a year earlier, Kwame and the NAACP held a very public "burial" of the N word in Detroit. He pulls it out at the most recent State of the city address. As a very pitiful attempt to drum up support from the black community, he claims that he has been called the "N" word alot recently. This is a desperate man.

10. Death Threats - During this same speech, he claims that he has received numerous death threats, as well as his family. The FBI claim that nothing has been reported to them that would confirm this. Again, another attempt at support.

11. The Christmas Cards - Two years in a row, all Detroit residents received a Christmas card from the Kilpatricks. Expensive little things printed out on PHOTO paper with a picture of the family. This of course came from taxpayers money. From a city whose schools don't have any extra money, who could have used that cash.
