New Accessory for the Nintendo® Wii®

Hello! I tried to look around in the org to make sure that it is cool to tell you guys about a new product and invite you to the product launch. I didn't notice anything telling me that I can't share with you guys, so I will apologize in advance if I over looked a rule against sharing.

I wanted to tell you all about a new gaming accessory that my husband created. I also wanted to invite those of you who are in the Atlanta area to the launch party!

The accessory is called Play Grip.

The Play Grip is primarily a safety device for use with the Nintendo® Wii Remote®. The Wii Remote® is the wireless game controller for the Nintendo® Wii®.

The current safety measures to prevent player from dropping or throwing the Wii Remote® during game play consists of a wrist-strap which is to be tightly looped onto the player's wrist. Many accidents of players' breaking the wrist-strap during game play, and subsequently breaking televisions, stereos, and windows have been reported. We feel that this wrist-strap does not offer enough protection. The Play Grip further reduces the risk of accidentally launching the Wii Remote® as a dangerous projectile by securing the Wii Remote® to the player's hand with various components.
1. The Wii Remote® is placed in a leather case with appropriate cut-outs for access to buttons and plugs, and clear plastic window to see the various buttons.
2. The player wears a glove with Velcro on the back-hand side.
3. The leather case is secured to the glove by a Velcro strap.

Together, the components of the Play Grip serve to reduce the risk of the player accidentally launching the Wii Remote® as a projectile during game play.

Nintendo, Wii, and Wii Remote are registered trademarks of Nintendo Corporation.

Visit www.playgrip.net. (The parts of the site are under construction.) Play Grip is currently available at Amazon.com (search video games and then type "Play Grip" to locate product details).

I broke my TV playing Wii after drinking Level Vodka, how do they explain that?
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

You are funny!

Sounds like you need to goto amazon.com and buy a Play Grip so you won't break your new t.v.!
Continue to enjoy Level Vodka!
thumbs up!

lol this seems a bit over the top if you ask me, I mean Nintendo has given out free wrist straps with thicker rope or whatever it stuff is so it won't break AND free Wii-mote "jackets" which is meant to improve grip and all that. I have never had a problem with either the strap breaking (I've had mine since release and the strap is still going strong) or losing my grip on the Wii-Mote. The only Wii related accident I've had...well my friend but on my Wii is from hitting a beer bottle which went flying and cracked the IF thing on the Wii-mote but it still works fine.

Its just some dodge 3rd party company trying to make money off stupid people.

Sounds like you have had a great experience with your Wii, but market research shows that there is a percentage of Wii owners who have not had as pleasant of an experience.

To be clear:
The Play Grip secures the Wii remote in your hand to prevent it from dropping or becoming a projectile. You may see the photo manual on www.playgrip.net for a better understanding.

1. The new straps also can break.
2. The jacket will soften the blow to what ever your remote hits, if your strap breaks.

All I'm trying to say is if people bother to listen to Nintendo and don't be complete idiots when playing Wii you won't have these problems, they have clearly stated on every game and in every manual to make sure there is nothing around you, that you have a firm grip on the wii-mote and pretty simply don't be a jackass when playing otherwise its your own fault.

This looks like a very big hassle just to play some Nintendo, and if your a casual gamer (which is what the Wiis market is) I don't see them putting on this whole apparatus just to play for 15 minutes.

Dance

Yeah there are a bunch of dumb ass sleeves, skins, grips, and etc. out there that are supposed protect or enhance various things on the market, but really all they do is enhance someone else's wallet.

don't be complete idiots when playing Wii you won't have these problems

Pretty much, but when certain things become cheaper and popular you have random people getting them and treating them like a shoe or something and all the new stuff can't take a beating like old ass systems. lol
