Exorcist 3. Scary movie. It really is an underappreciated flick. I only discovered it about 15 years ago. And I was surprised at how effective it was. I'm a huge fan of the genre as a whole, but psychological horror is really what I love. And that shit kept me up that night...

The ending is kind of rushed though... What recent horror films have you liked? The last one that really excited me was Ringu and the Ring... but that idea has been so overdone now... I watched 1408. That was pretty cool.

It ends and you end up with a strange feeling. There are some pretty great performances in it. I loved the guy that was in jail. His voice and his performance scared the hell out of me. They had actors who could scare you just by the looks on their faces. I miss that.

I can't find a certain scene, from the movie LET'S SCARE JESSICA TO DEATH, where a woman in a wedding dress is coming out of the water. That scene scared me sooooo much as a child. I finally found it on VHS. It's a creepy movie.

violator said: that clip was probably the last scene in a horror movie that ever scared the shit out of me. Director William Peter Blatty (who wrote The Exorcist) wanted the film to be titled "Legion", just like his novel of the same name. Even though Blatty opposed, the title was changed to "The Exorcist 3."which after poor reviews of The Exorcist 2 probably did more harm than good. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I was just pleasantly surprised at how true it remained to the storyline of the original. And I flipped over seeing Patrick Ewing as the Angel of Death...
