Is this crazy?



I just spent $9 on cranberry hazelnut crackers with flax seed and such. And I bought some honey goat cheese to have with it. It made for a delicious treat. Super duper yummy, in fact.

But is it silly to spend $9 on 6 ounces of crackers?

yes...

but I've pissed away plenty of 9 dollarses in my life, atleast you got something out of it....

are they that good or that unique? if so, then sure. i think it's nice to make a ridiculous purchase like that every now and then as a special treat, especially if the payoff is worth the price.

my dad bought me AUS$9 mayonnaise and I thought he was crackers!

That's one thing that I do overspend on...gourmet food. I feel I deserve it. Those crackers look great and I would have bought them too.

In fact, just this week, I bought some lobster stuffed ravioli and a small block of asiago cheese, just to make a special meal for myself. I made a great sauce out of butter, asiago cheese, fresh garlic, cream, purple basil, crab meat and shrimp.

For something like that I may spend up to $6 but I'd still be pissy that it was so expensive. $9 is nuts...

Look at it this way. Some people pay almost $5 a day for a cup of coffee. $9 is not so bad if you're only getting them every now and again. And it's cheaper than crack. I think...

I think it better than spending that money on a scratch off ticket. At least you got some enjoyment out of them.
