it would be different if it was written the same for a gay character, but being a gay person, i realized if i want to see a gay version of "juno", i better get off my ass and write it. shrug

wow...that almost sounds like an indirect kick in the ass..but i aint mad at that tho smile well said

well, it's a POSITIVE kick in the ass if anything. smile

i think anyone can watch a movie and say "that wasn't written with ME in mind", but still get something from it. i've seen a lot of movies where i really liked what they were going for, but i always wished it was written from a point of view closer to a person i could relate to. in the final analysis, it comes down to the old adage, "if you want it done right, you gotta do it yourself." why expect diablo cody to write a groundbreaking black character when she's not a black woman? she wrote from the point of view of a midwestern white girl, and she hit the mark because she wrote from her identity. we need more people who can do that, from all kinds of different experiences. i wanna see the black girl version of 'juno'. i bet it would kick ass. wherever the black diablo cody is, she'd better grab her keyboard and get clickety-clacking. lol

I just watched this steaming pile of monkey crap over the weekend.

They added a little sister into the movie solely to entertain what the writer considered a cute name for a character as far as I can tell.

She should have stuck to impressing johns with her pop culture preferences rather than unleashing that shit upon the world.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.
