i'm tired of waiting... good timing. I once tried to do this with a g/f who was given to moodiness, and she said nothing was bothering her. A few days later, she fumed at me for not noticing that she'd been going through something and for not trying to be there for her. 
When I reminded her that I had, in fact, done just that, she said that she didn't think I'd meant it at the time...

Yeah, I'm going to start letting other folks pick out women for me, because most of my exes have been issue-laden. Which, potentially, could make me the same way.
