I have it coloured and I have a permanent wave and I have to put styling products in it and then it looks good for some hours . Without that it's the shittiest boring dark brown, flat to the head ugly looking hair you can possibly imagine .

I just saw the D60 for the first time the other day. I've been avoiding camera shops this last few months for precisely that reason. Hopefully it's not much better than what I have and would have cost me a lot more if I'd waited to get it instead. I always do this when I buy something!

I was looking at lenses the other day too. I really shouldn't. I've told myself I'm not buying any new lenses this year and I have to stick to that.

dpreview gave the D60 a 'highly recommended' review score, but said it's not a big leap from the D40x but more of a subtle tweaking. I need not feel bad then.

Yes, lenses... it's almost like porn. There's something about new lenses. That one above is a macro one (or micro as Nikon call them ) isn't it? That'd be one of my relatively few options for an auto-focusing macro lens for mine, though no doubt it's quite pricey? I need a budget macro lens that's compatible. Maybe I'll check for something secondhand at Phanthip plaza. Until then the Olympus gets a stay of execution.

I considered doing a bathroom shot for this thread. I may still do one, but I'll have to be very selective about what I capture. The light's horrible too. It's a bit like how you'd imagine a bathroom in a castle 800 years ago or something.

There do seem to be a fair few more options now than 6 months ago. I noticed they did change the kit lens on the D60 (the 18-55) to include VR now too, which is cool, but I'm actually quite surprised at the quality of the version of that lens that I have, considering how cheap it is, and do you really need VR on such a lens? Bet it's handy on your 18-200 though, right? It certainly works nicely on my 55-200.
