Why would you get it if you're not a Maori becouse i went in asked would it be acceptable for a non maori to get an indigenouis tatoo and also as i have a kiwi child-he said it would be and as its a personal tatoo with a story behind it then its fine-infact he was impressed with the reverence and respect i approached it i mean how people do you see with"celtic"armbands who arent remotely celtic?

I think those people are stupid. I mean, of course, it's up to you, but I would never get a tattoo of something I wasn't personally involved with, whether it be a band, religion, cultural or astrological symbol. Whatever. It's up to you though. Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together
