8 years ago today... it's been a rough day for me emotionally so I thought I'd share this. 8 years ago today i just turned 19. I had been in SD for 9 months and was attending the University of San Diego on an academic scholarship. I was also an everday user of crystal meth and a few other designer party drugs. I think I was up to about an 8ball every two days or so, eating solid food every 3 days and maybe sleeping every 4th.
On this day, my birthday, a non using friend of mine took me to San Diego County health to get my test results. I tested HIV positive. My response was ok whatever. Some years today comes and goes and it's a happy day other years like today I look back and think of the things I fucked up and sit on the verge of tears for most of the day. Today I have soo much yet I still feel like I'm a failure on somethings. But I guess we all feel that way. Just remember that anything can happen at anytime and to always love those you are with. Remember that everyday should be lived to the fullest. and Love Yourself. I'm off to my work's 20th anniversay party but I wanted to share this with you my orgmily more so I can look at the words and see that with my family, my friends, my Sisters and you my orgmily I'm in a much better place than I was. I cannot ever say how proud of you I am  We all have our failings and things that we wish we could do differently but all those things brought you to where you are today. Today could have just been another birthday doing pretty frivilous things but this day is reflective for you and that is such a good thing. Look at where you were 9 years ago and where you are now. You have come a long long way.
