Yes. biggrin

Especially number 81 and 78 (even though I have no kids, if I did, this would totally apply). lol

I literally just found out about it yesterday--my friend sent it to me b/c of entry 81. (I have an MA in Art History falloff) I promptly forwarded it to everyone else who was in my MA program ( lol )

Haven't had much chance to read it, but from what I did see I think it's supposed to be tongue in cheek. Obviously some of the comments illustrate that people don't get that. Ya gotta be able to laugh at yourself, imo. shrug

And expensive sandwiches! lol

I love this...

http://stuffwhitepeopleli...porations/

Published in 2000, No Logo has been responsible for more white person “enlightenment” than any book since the burning of the library at Alexandria. By reading this one magic book, white people are able to get a full grasp on the evils of multi-national corporations and then regurgitate it to friends and family.

I don't really know who that is, but I was able to guess the #1 hip-hop song beloved by white people without reading the list (Baby Got Back, which I hate, btw) and most of the other 'honorable' mentions. biggrin (I disagree with most of their top 10. lol) I was also very surprised that Run DMCs "Walk This Way" was *not* on the list! lol

Let's see... Beyonce love aside, I'm constantly irked at how often people act as if I'm not "the norm."

A non-black girlfriend once remarked off-handedly, "Well, you're not a typical black man. Typical black men are like rappers and ball players..."

I had to check her right there. "No, typical black men in my family are respectful, get advanced degrees, raise their children, remain married to their wives for decades (if not forever), hold down jobs (sometimes, multiple ones), are law-abiding, positive, progressive and love God..."

My favorite "you're not like the others" moment had to be the time a friend's father-in-law asked me what island I was from... falloff
