Some therapist on the radio said men always think physical affection like kissing, carressing, and massages etc is an automatic precursor to sex while women like to be affectionate in this way without ever intending on it leading to sex. The therapist said that women have to give men disclaimers that "I just want to show you a little affection as an expression of my love" or something like that and make it clear no fucking will happen. What do you think? I wonder if this is true

Absolutely... massage, or pampering, (like giving a facial, scalp massage, pedicure, manicure, back rub, etc.) do not have to lead to intercourse but can be very sensual if done the right way.

A nice foot rub after a long day for instance is always welcome, hand him a beer the turn on the game for him, leave the room to prepare a hot meal... no sex and he's just fine.
