Have u ever run into someone who LOOKS just like u?

I went 2 college with a guy that looked almost identical 2 me. It was strange in that we also had the same 1st name and my girlfriend in college was his girlfriend in highschool.

Have u ever had any encounters with a dead ringer look alike?

Are you sure both weren't you? Maybe you had amnesia??? Or a split personality? Did you only see this other person when you looked into a mirror?

Lol.....it was very real. People would occasionally start conversations with me, assuming I was him. I'd have no idea what they were talking about.

Actually that has never happened to me. I don't know how I would have reacted.

but you should have asked to borrow money from them and leave the other guy on the hook for the money.

Back in 1990 my old boss asked me "How was the Creole fest?" when I came into work and I said "It was cool, but I haven't been since '88" and he said "Really? This isn't you?" and then he pulled out the Creole newspaper and showed me a pic of this dude at the fest that looked JUST LIKE ME! I couldn't tell his complexion because the paper was in Black & White but he had the same hairstyle as me, facial features, and same hoop earrings - DEAD WRINGER!

I said "If this dude ever decides to do some MAJOR DIRT, I'm fucked! lol

I kept the newspaper in my car for about year, showing it to people and freaking them out, then when I went to the car wash, the workers cleaned my car and threw the paper in the trash, I was pissed. That dude could've been fam.

Actually, no. But I always get people coming up to me thinking I am related to someone they know or I look like someone they know. This happens constantly, and kind of scary to know I resemble so many other females.

One time, a friend of mine who never met my sister, actually ran into her one day, and asked her if she had a sister (who turned out t be me) she was right. She actually ran into my sister without ever meeting her, but my 2 sisters and I look alike and we were always called "triplets", since both of them are between 14 - 16 months apart from me.

About 12 years ago I was in the Las Vegas airport and there was a girl that looked just like me. It was weird. We were both wearing a purple wind suit. I mean it was freaky.

I had two cousins that looked alike. One was from my mother's brother's son, and the other was my dad's sister's son. They had no blood relation at all and never met each other. It became a sort of a family joke for us.

Gabriel Byrne, although I did not run into him, I met him once in the early 90´s when he was married to Ellen Berkin (sea of love with Al Pacino). I never understood or saw the resemblence untill I saw my reflection once in a tube train window.

yes, when I first moved to the town I live in now...the girl I was dating had an aunt that worked with me...one day one of her aunts daughters(my girlfriends cousin, of course) was at our work and was just chatting with me...her dad pulled up a few minutes later looking for her mom...he saw us talking and cussed me out then told his daughter to leave... I had no clue what was going on, I was just pissed he talked to me that way...they later told me I looked
just like the guy she had been dating that beat the hell outta her...yeah, right-I thought...a few weeks later my girlfriend showed me the guy... eek ...he did look just like me...I'm convinced my father must have been spreading his seed or something...

When I've been in Spain, I've seen quite a few women that were "similar" to me, but not a dead ringer. hmmm

I do however apparently have a doppelganger in Mpls. because I can't tell you how many times men have come up to me and say they just met me, exchanged phone numbers w/ me, why didn't I call?, etc. just the weekend before. lol I have no clue who they are and say "Nope. That wasn't me."

In fact, just a few months ago, my dad was driving home and thought for sure he saw me walking down the street. Thought it was his own daughter! falloff It wasn't me of course. I need to meet this person. confused

I see my younger sister all the time from far away, or from the back. nod It's never her (she lives in S.F. ). She's almost 6 feet tall with long brown hair, so whenever I see someone like that, I always think it's my little sis. lol boxed

No, but a friend and I were mistaken for twins twice (we don't really even look alike!) and another friend and I were asked if we were sisters. It's weird. I think maybe it's cause we share similar style. I don't know how that equals to being related. lol

I get that all the time too with one of my best friends. nod Pretty much every time we go out, someone asks if we're sisters. lol She's got blonde hair and blue eyes though! lol

Of course, there was this other time at First Ave my friend Katy and I (who is considerably shorter than me, with long curly hair and skinny as all get out) tried to convince some drunk guy that we were twins. giggle
We had him going for about half an hour till he asked to look at our IDs. I was all, "we have different names cause our parents got divorced and I took one and she took the other!". He finally looked at our birthdates.

Oh, the things that are entertaining when you're drunk.

lol
