A pet peeve... As I sit & read on the Org, one thing that really irks me is when someone takes the time to correct someone else's grammar or spelling.
I just think it's rude, and I feel bad for the person who has been "put on blast" in front of his/her fellow Orgers. When I read a post, if I know something is wrong, I make the necessary "mental adjustment". Who knows- it might just be that the person can't type that well. Or, it could be because that the person is trying to translate to English from another language. I always say that if U know what a person is trying to say, what do U gain from correcting him/her in public? What do U think? -L- "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

it irks me sometimes when orgers are sometimes overly pc, analytical, or take posts out of context to suit their own argument. I don't like when someone always seems to pull the same argument no matter the subject of the thread. Or post differing opinions just for the sake of appearing different when they know it isn't the case. but then again I'm guilty of some of these-I know I can be sensitive sometimes

I think the thing that stupidly bugs me the most is off key singing. I'm listening to the radio at work right now and there is a song playing and the moron keeps going sharp.
It makes me anxious and seriously irritates the hell outta me. People find my constant reaction to that annoying, but I can't help it.

Agree 100%.I just read a post with some1 correcting "Princebonics",as it's sometimez called here.I really don't c what's 2 gain by correcting anybodyz' grammar and/r spelling. If anything, the corrector looks petty and stupid. It's almost as bad as blasting some1 4 stating his/her opinion.I just think it's rude, and I feel bad for the person who has been "put on blast" in front of his/her fellow Orgers. Ice cube trays with only one cube in them...
Guys who don't give up their seats for women or the elderly on public transportation... People who always insist that they know an even better version of something...if you suggest a Cuban restaurant, they say "If you REALLY want good Cuban food, go to (fill in the blank)". If you suggest a movie, they say "If you REALLY want to see a good movie, go see (fill in the blank)"... People who seem to never be satisfied...it's as if they feel more comfortable constantly pointing out why something isn't good enough for them... Long waits at the bank...my transactions all take about 45 seconds. Everyone else's take 5 minutes. What the hell are you guys doing up there?...

Manhandled or damaged merchandise in a retail outlet.
Bad grammar or spelling. I typically don't correct egregious errors (unless as a very clear joke to someone). However, I believe language's standards should be upheld. In a time when we seem concerned with overcoming technological barriers, we seem simultaneously fine with sacrificing the beauty of language. So, silent as I might remain about it here, it bugs me when people display a really poor grasp of their native tongue. People who clip their fingernails in public. A coworker of mine does this, without fail, every week. People who chronically interrupt others.

There are some who run out of ammo mid argument and decide to use this tactic. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

It drives me crazy when people smack their gum.
It annoys me when people pronounce the "t" in "often." Talking about the weather is another pet peeve of mine--it just bores me to tears.
