V'Ger...so what became of Ilia and Decker when they "merged" with V'Ger? They started the Borg? "Let love be your perfect weapon..." ~~Andy Biersack

Plus the Borg originated in the Delta quadrant. While its a kinda cool concept it doesn't hold any canon knowledge. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

I think whoever made up the borg had germs in mind...

Nah, I think with this idea Vger creates the Borg before the events of Star Trek the motion picture... So, Voyager 6 is created on Earth in the 20th century... it travels through a black hole... ends up in the delta quadrant, centuries in the past... Voyager 6 is found by living machines and repaired... so it becomes Vger. Then Vger creates the borg to find the creator... But the Borg are unsuccessful at the time, so Vger goes off by himself, eventually ending up on Earth in the 23rd century for the events of Star Trek the motion picture. yeah, it's not canon. just a fun idea.

i always thought the Borg were just futuristic humans who developed the ability to time travel, or humans who evolved in a parallel world.
