Ya, I'm lost about that one too.

She is a shit-stirrer.

She is. But then again, if there's shit to be stirred, I'd stay stir it.
If one wife beater watching that particular episode comes to his senses from watching shit be stirred, that in and of itself is enough reason to air it

imho

So am I. So?

HUGE difference between you and her. She makes people feel bad on purpose. She intentionally brings out the worst in people in order to create conflict. If there isn't enough conflict, Judge Judy begins the shit-stirring. She creates misery, not happiness.

You aren't anything like that; at least, not here on the Org. I don't always agree with your opinions but you've never been anything other than upfront, honest and consistent.

Like I told Erin, she stirs shit only to create conflict where there is none (or not enough to suit her needs).

That bit on the "wife beater" was good, no doubt. It's a serious issue and I applaud Judge Judy for her actions. But my friend, that was out of the norm for her.

Or to say it in Texan, even a broken clock is right twice a day!

Actually, from what I've seen she's very much like that with everyone. I just don't agree that she creates conflict. Conflict is already there, she just addresses it.

I totally agree. Judge Judy rocks! I love her for the very same reason. The people on her show are absolute morons and she calls them like she sees them.

Have you ever seen her get the losing side to admit they were wrong?

Or, do you see her scream at them that they are wrong, in the hopes they'll argue with her so she can scream some more?

Listen, I've only seen the show a few times and yes, I have seen her get the other side to admit they were wrong.

Well, maybe she's mellowed with age. I hope so.

As a side note, the judge from "Texas Justice" (Larry Doherty) is a friend of mine. He's a pretty easy-going fellow, and his show (if it's still on, not too sure about that) revolved around Texan cornpone humor more than it did conflict.

Larry would admonish them, but in a down-home, go-for-laughs sort of way.
