Fox News has reported that the snipers have been caught!!

The Police and FBI have 3 suspects currently in custody. They pulled over the car @ 3:30 am EST. The car had the New Jersey plates that were on the all points bulletin.

The best news I heard all week!!!

I hear it's 2 suspects. They had been looking for a third but they're not anymore.

I hope these are the guys & they shoot them straight up the ass. The older guy looks disturbed as hell in one photo...

It seems to me that, if these are in fact the snipers, they weren't too smart about not getting caught. Apparently one of the main things linking them to this is a stolen credit card number that they wanted the cops to wire $10 million. There was another bit that the guys were supposedly bragging about all of this.

I understand what Abrazo is saying though--when news as big as this breaks, in the beginning, there are rumors flying everywhere. You just have be discriminatory on what you hear on these TV news channels, because they want to be the "first to bring you the news!"

What does everyone think about how the media and the many different law jurisdictions have handled this?

If it is them the most shocking thing is they are BLACK.Has there ever been a black serial killer?

The only one I can think of is the guy in Atlanta who preyed on little black boys, back in the late 70's/early 80's. All of the other ones that first come to mind are white.

But the "experts" on TV have been talking about how the serial sniper is not a typical serial killer. Most serial killers get the thrill of taking away each victim's last breath by strangling/stabbing/whatever them. But the sniper just kills and runs off and doesn't wait around to see what they did. It'll be interesting to see how all of this unfolds--the motivation, how they got these names, why the 17 year old is involved, etc.

I just hope it's them, and that there won't be any copy cats.

i live less then 5 miles from where the suspects were caught. i am so glad this may be over.

i remember there was a guy going around shooting people in d.c. about 5 or 6 years ago that claimed the ghost of malcolm x told him to do it. he killed five people but was sentanced to a mental institution instead of getting jail time.

How can this Be a black and white issue? Somehow every issue ends up as a black and white thing on this site.
There a lot black murderers out there, just like white murderers. What about the gangs in the black neighbourhoods? arent there black murderers? Come on, 10 ppl got killed who cares about any colour. Lets hope the killings are over now.
