Au Naturale VS. Well...you know! Which do you prefer?
Natural Beauty or Maybelline, Covergirl,...etc? ONE OR THE OTHER DAMMIT!! The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them. -- Mark Twain.

Lean more towards nautral but a soft touch of makeup is OK too
or a BUNCH of makeup if you are a preformer ( like Jess does when she dances on stage )

comnination of the two actually.
I don't like alot of makeup, and I don't like hair that covers the face. I don't like fake stripper breasts, etc. etc. But I also don't like.... hairy armpits on girls (yes, some girls go that natural), hairy legs, any hair on the face that's not taken cared of. I also like punked out colors in hair, etc. So I like a combination of both. For the face, I prefer natural though. Just get rid of facial hair and trim the brows if you need to.

Well, I guess I feel compelled to say that the above are opinions about women's appearances. Men, don't go by the same rules.

once youth is gone, well... Exactly. Everyone wants to have natural beauty. Anyway, I like the very subtle makeup look for an overall look, but I do love dramatic, smokey eyes for a night out as well.

Yeah, a lot of people tell me I look better with it but it'sa lot of work and I don't want to be bothered with someone if my made up face is what attracted them to me. It's a whole lotta days I don't want to put that crap on.

Same here. In the summer time and I have nice colour I wear very, very little. Just a little mascara is enough. But this time of year...I need help.

I even used to work for a cosmetics company years ago - all that free makeup was heaven. I wear it everyday, but usually only do eyeshadow and shimmer for nighttime.

I just find a lot of makeup makes me look hard. What do you use every day? I never, ever use foundation - it looks awful on me. I wear bronzer, blush and eye makeup...and just gloss for lips. At night I'll pile on the eyeliner and mascara. [Edited 2/14/08 7:29am]

Usually I am just too lazy to put a lot of make-up on. Or better it wouldn't be so much work to put it on, but I hate it to put it off in the evening when I am tired and want to go to bed. I am not even sure if I look better with as somtimes I have the impression I look older with make-up than without . So it depends on the occassion and also on the outfit I am wearing. Today I am wearing an outfit that looks crap without red lipstick and once I use red lipstick I have to put on mascara as well . With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

I love playing with make up....
Au Naturale is fine for kickin' it around the house, going to the store, etc but I do like make up.

Ex-Moderator | The only thing I put on everyday is eyeliner. If I don't everyone asks me if I'm feeling OK, or tells me I look tired. When I'm up to it, I use a very light foundation. It really, really, really makes a difference on my skin.
For night-time I'll use mascara and do my lips, either a nice lipstick or a lipliner and gloss. I never wear blush. I have enough natural pink-ish hues in my skin. A few times a year I'll play with eyeshadows. Just for fun. |

I'm getting bored w/ my look - never been a fan of blush but sometimes I feel like something is missing. I think I'll start wearing a hint of blush when I go out

I don't make a move without my friends Laura, Stila and Christian. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
