Face and Neck TWO DIFFERENT COLORS.....horrible!!! And a brown skinned woman in blush is abhorrently disgusting to me....where the fuck and how the fuck do your cheeks turn fucking red?? And then...and then.....why would you apply faux redness to your beautiful brown skin that DOES NOT TURN FUCKING RED!? Blush is not supposed to make your cheeks look red (no matter what race you are), it's supposed to mimic the way people blush or get flushed when they are sexually arroused (just like lipstick). Black people do not blush or get flushed? a lot of skin tones don't, i think. i don't blush/get flushed. i'd wear blush, but i'm too lazy to figure out how to make it look okay on me

Cal...and many women look silly with extra long eye lashes, etc.
I LOVE playing in makeup so that's not really my point. I'm just not a fan of blush....even though there are moments when it looks good. heffa and don't bananadance me either.

Black people do not blush or get flushed? Lighter skinned black folks do..... personally...I don't. and Cal...hush......i still don't think it looks natural MOST of the time on darker skinned black women Just jumping in here, but I actually like how a bright fuschia/rose tinted blush looks on really dark skin. I think it looks damn cool on the right person. I don't care if it looks "real" or not. It gives the face an edgy look, a la Grace Jones for example. For me make-up is an art form actually. Half the time, the make-up looks I'm drawn to are not about it looking "natural" at all. I love over-the-top, experimental looks. And Why don't men wear makeup outside of photoshoots, television, movies etc?? The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them. -- Mark Twain.

Too different things to me. Both. I actually applaud anyone who would venture out in the daytime with crazy, experimental make-up on actually. It makes for good people watching and is never boring. When I get older, say around 65-70, I plan on being that crazy lady that you see while out shopping or whatever with some 60's looking wig on, stage-make-up, and a mismatched vintage outfit on. I want to become a fixture in whatever city I end up in that people will immediately recognize. Although I guess Mary Kate-Olsen is already doing that. That said, and back to the original topic, I KNEW that Lauryn Hill pic would end up here at some point. And Why don't men wear makeup outside of photoshoots, television, movies etc?? imo, it's because culturally, they aren't as expected to nearly as much as women. some men do wear eyeliner.

And Why don't men wear makeup outside of photoshoots, television, movies etc?? It's not about "falling for" anything. Make-up is so much fun . God, I sould like Suntan Malibu Barbie or something saying that though. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven
