This can't go on forever!

When do you think you will quit the Org permanently? In the near or far future? Has it crossed your mind?

if Zombie & JD pick up Nordic Walking, I'm out. I'm telling you, as soon as that happens, I'm gone.

I have left for long periods at a time... yet keep in touch with several (from here) in other ways. So, in reality... the org will be a part of my life forever, if not here mainly... most definitely through the people I have grown to truly love, respect and grow with, yes still. I would be surprise to hear that no one has been affected by the org in one way or another... and these experiences (good or bad) will always remain in minds, sometimes our heart... but always in spirit.

Plain and simple... we just cannot change the past and what has been created, whether it is a current part of our life now, or not.

The org in some strange way... will last forever (even if just in memory), and in many other ways as well. It's inevitable, once it has existed in ones life.

Now deal with it JD. rose ~Hugs.

Yes, it's crossed my mind. 2008 is the biggest transitional year for me in life, and the org up until this point has really really enriched my life.

But I forsee a time when it will cool off to me. That's not to say the friendships I've had will cool off. I think I've made lifelong friends, and I love each one dearly.

But, I rarely open threads anymore. And normally on by a few orgers that I know real well. And I don't recognize 80% of the org names that are posing anymore.

This in no way is a reflection of the org being "boring", but just where I am in life. I'm really happy now.

I'll be moving into a new house and busy. Plus, I'll finally get my stained glass workshop unpacked, and operational, which I haven't been able to do, for the past two years. (It took a year to sell our other house)
I'll probably not log on, for stretches.

Quitting the org has never crossed my mind. There are times I am more and less active, for sure. Being a mod, I'd definitely turn in my mod badge if I knew I weren't spending enough time here to do that effectively. But if I ever do "quit", I would guess it will be more of a slow fade away than a conscious decision to stop logging in.
