One of my favorite moments, with the last scene, is when Bill Murray sings More Than This.

Mine, too! I love Avalon - and when he launched into that, I just sat there with my mouth hanging open. cool

I don't understand the hate on Eternal Sunshine, a lot of people don't like it, though it got tremendous praise from critics.

I'm in the minority of my friends in saying I liked it. But I didn't just like it, I thought it was outstanding. I'm actually not sure what people didn't like about it. One friend said the camera work and dream sequences made him sick. That was the best excuse I got.

Lost in Translation troubled me at first, but on reflection of it, even reflecting on it now, a couple years after I first saw it, I see a lot more beauty in it.

Eternal Sunshine...was just kind of predictable. Like you always knew how it was going to end...well I guessed it anyway. I liked it just cause im a huge Jim Carrey serious role fan but otherwise i didn't like any of the other actors in it and it just seemed unoriginal.

Wow.... If there's one thing I didn't think anyone thought Eternal Sunshine was, it's unoriginal.

But to each their own. I personally loved it, and as far as predictability goes, I don't think that movie resolved to say that they lived happily ever after. I think the finally message was that the memories are worth having, we can only hope for the best, but no matter what comes of our love, be glad to have experienced it at all.
