I heard on Oprah that natural light cures depression.

I heard we all need natural light, especially in winter, with people staying indoors. People should buy special lights and soak in the natural light. Helps the body with vitamin D or maybe e..lol

Vitamin D consumption is a must as well. Woman have low counts of it and milk is not fortified enough.

And yes, I watch Oprah, is that ok? lol

Actually, lack of vitamins is one of the reasons to explain our depression and high crime rates.
All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!

Well thanks for stating the obvious Oprah. I think we all know being out and about with people as opposed to sitting indoors with the curtains closed listening to Joy Division (sounds quite nice actually!) is better for you.

"cure" is a strong word!

"helps relieve" might be more fitting.

Taking into account that Sweden (during it's long winter hardly gets any day light at all) has the highest suicide rate than any other country - there must be some truth to it!

I saw in the paper they had light "bars", places painted white with special lamps where you can hang out, have a coffee and read the paper.
Those daylight lamps should be handed out for FREE to everyone, sounds like they are expensive to buy.
