Now looking for a charity in Chicago

Hello all i'm looking for a good or poorly funded charity in the Chicago area that is mainly GLBT or HIV focused. If anyone knows of one please let me know. i have to start planning something.

it's supposed to be the LGBT community center for the whole city - it's fairly new so i don't know how diverse it is at this point, but it's a good starting point. from my experience, there wasn't much of a healthy, thriving "alt.lgbt" community in chicago. you could certainly find a fair share of fringey gay folk, but no real meeting places or scenes to bring such people together.

you might also look into the chicago chapter of radical faeries? shrug

If I ever change my username I think I will change it to that woot!
