slept till noon (way, way late for me)
did my taxes
went to Home Depot, picked up all the materials to critter proof my house.
went to see my cousin's, pickup the critter cage and his staple air gun. he wanted to give me his rifle to pick it off the next time I saw it the yard, but I declined, sweet of him to offer though.
visited with his wife, her brother died earlier in the week and they buried him today. came home cleaned my kitchen, laced the sardines with poison and powered sugar.
now I'm watching TV and surfing the net while I wait for unwelcome critter to venture out so I can put the cage in the attic.
doing laundry .

I got a lot done today considering I got up late.

Got up. Checked e-mail. practiced some guitar. Orged. Played Madden a spell. Thought about going in to work some. Ate brunch. Baked some chocolate chip cookies. Watched first half of the Aviator. Went in to work some. E-mailed rest of work to myself. Swung by Starbucks. Went to a benefit concert for a ministry in Kenya. Came home. Practicing bass while posting on the Org and checking e-mails. About to hit those cookies with some milk, while finishing the Aviator.

Woke up at 10:30.
Washed a load of laundry.
We went to the beach.
Had Hungry Jacks for lunch.
Shopped for groceries.
Put away groceries.
Hung up washing and wet beach towels.

i've now been up nearly 24 hours. spent the last 3 or so driving on 4 fucking different freeways in this HELLISH RAINSTORM FROM SATAN (when the FUCK did los angeles become a goddamn rainforest? why wasn't i notified?) a million near crashes. uuuugh.

but i caught a drumstick from the show

I've not been up long but I've been reading and had a bowl of mini shredded weats.

-woke up
-contemplated yet another wake n' bake...decided against it until i'm ready to paint
- typed out yet another messed up dream i had as to not forget it when i start analyzing today
- watching a bollywood movie i LOVE them - especially the old ones
- thinking about what to make for breakfast
- thinking about what else to paint, but i'm sure i'll figure it out

FRIDAY - Had basketball practice. Total disaster. Things look really bad for our first regular-season game Saturday.

SATURDAY - Shuttled kids to/from church activities. Coached first regular-season basketball game. After falling behind 8 - 0, told team I would forfeit if we made one more stupid pass. After first quarter ended with us trailing 15 - 2, told forwards to start setting picks to get my diminutive point guards past mid-court. Twenty minutes later, we had a 28 - 20 victory. I am the greatest coach in history. Celebrated by cooking hamburgers for 15 boys at church sleep-over event, then going to see Robin Trower. He may look 75, but he can really, REALLY rock.

SUNDAY - Ran the lights for both church services, then had lunch. Am currently orging, and soon will be setting my meetings for the week.

SUNDAY:

peed, took Hydroycut
made breakfast (egg whites, rice, chipotle chicken sausage, lite cheese, tangerine juice)
finally finished a book I'd put down forever
heard from the mf I wanted hear from desperately last night
printed some bank statements, about to do some bills
headed to the gym after that, then out to visit my momma & watch a movie

Woke up (that's always a good thing....)
ate some breakfast
did a bit of laundry and straightening up around the house (house-bitch that I am )
finally broke out my Perfect Pushup handles....and did the workout....shit actually works!! Then the wifey convinced me to do some Tae-Bo with her... got spaghetti legs now!!
right now, chillin' with Miles in my ears (Panthalassa) finishing up an annual evaluation for one of the non-coms that works for me...
it may be an early night for me... my unit has a change of command ceremony tomorrow and we've gotta be out on the parade field to set up at 6 a.m.....
