which goes back to it being a matter of tact. i might say something around close friends that i wouldn't dare say at work or in other mixed company. it's not my intention to say potentially offensive things and assume people will just have to "deal with it", when i can just err on the side of respectability and hope other people will do the same toward me. why can't people just be nice to each other? fuck. This site's so broad though. Someone's bound to get offended by something in this forum. The word in general doesn't offend me much either, but considering the way the word was used in this particular situation, it's easy to see why people would be a little upset. A lot of words have evolved into completely different meanings now. I remember how uncomfortable I was when girls started using the word "bitch" so freely when referring to themselves & other girls. Now, I just shrug it off and accept the context of it. I mean just look at this site, how many times do you see "bitch" and "cunt" used so freely in jest. I've also seen people here say something to the extent of "I can't wait to meet you. I'm gonna molest you."..... or "I'm gonna rape you". Context should apply to everything here then.....I hate the pick & choose game here.That's the point I was 'trying' to make, but I don't think it followed through too well! surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water
