That thing was a lifesaver when I was a newbie. I got a map of CHicago before I come here. Too bad, it's just downtown. I live in the Northeastern part. Are you in an area called Rogers Park? Oh and by the way- Welcome to my hometown! Sorry about the weather.

2. Do you feel like you've found a cool place, or do you feel out of place? 3. How was the flight? Were you as nervous, less nervous, or more nervous getting on the plane? Will this lesson or increase your anxiety when flying back? 4. Do you have hairy legs? Good questions! 1. Most of them. Except for the immigration office lady at the airport in the US. But I asked for it. Oh and... I had a personal search in Zurich. That was hot. 2. Cool very cool. I need more heat in my apartment. But other tan that - it's hawt. 3. The flight was excellent. Swiss air rocks. They had this entertainment set thanks to which I had no time to stress out. I've watched WIll and Grace and some other shit-coms. The food was pretty good too. And I was so tired (couldn't sleep for 48hours before the flight) that I nodded off for 5 hours of the flight. Very cool experience. I think I will be a bit more confident when flying back...I hope. 4. Yes. Kinda very. U? I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the dirt.

Born and raised in Chi-town...now live in Connecticut. I MISS Chicago like you wouldn't believe. Are you in the city or burbs?
Anyway...not your typical things to check out: Chicago Pizza & Ovengrinder...the BEST pizza in the city or burbs. Its on Clark Street & Willow. This isn't your typical Chicago style pizza. Its kinda like Pizza Pot Pie. It's the BEST pizza I have ever had. Totally differnt but damn! its so great. Gotta try the peasant bread as well. After try Clark Bar...which is across the street from Pizza & Ovengrinder. cool old time bar. If you tip well the bartender gives free shots. Also notorious for being next to the site where the St Valentines Massacure happened. Supposedly old time gangsters hung out here. Signature Room on top of Hancock Building...great date place. Very awesome views (esp in ladies room...trust me ; ) Wells Street...Old Town. Great resturaunts and pubs. Second City is here as is Zanies comedy club. Very cool neighbourhood. Rolling Stone Records in Norridge which is just outside the city limits on the northwest side. Its off Harlem Ave. the BEST record store ever. Abbey Pub in Rogers Park...great for live music. Western Ave...Beverly. Far Southwest side of the city. Southside St Patricks Day Parade. Great strip of pubs...hardcore Irish. Some of the best times I've had ever are in this part of the city.
