The sun never shines here.

Length of day - Like my days aren't hard enough that I gotta start measuring the amount of time that I spend torturiously cursing myself for not having the courage to just tie my shirt around my neck, hang it off the top water pipe in the laundry room & therefore end this life of Hell on Earth,
just cuz you fuckers are curious.

I showed one of my fellow inmates my response to this post,
and he told me that I was wrong. That the sun did indeed shine in here.
I said "Yeah? When?"
"Why, whenever you smile, Illy...." he replied , with a mephistorical smirk on his face.

I didn't know how to tell him that I was already taken.
Now, it's against my will, of course,
but still, taken none the less.

Mann, I am such a fuckin' coward....

My wife luvy and I used to live in Alaska.

And the days were fast. Nights were longer.
Summer it was in reverse. Longer days, shorter nights.

I know it dark in Alaska this time of year.
We lived it. Only 3 hours of sunlight.

Fairbanks, Alaska, United States

Sunrise at 10:58 AM in direction 155° South-southeast
Sunset at 2:40 PM in direction 205° South-southwest
Duration of day: 3 hours, 41 minutes.
Sun in south at 12:49 PM at altitude 2° above horizon.
