And look at her options. Lunch lady or janitor. What were they paying her for janitor, like $2 an hour more? She should be crying 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Of course it is not a glamorous job or a decent paying job, but it is an honest paying job. I am more on the case of people who do not work at all, and sponge off the welfare system. No honest job should be belittled. I often work late hours in the law office I work in, the two janitors that show up after closing hours, are two of the heardest working people I know. They keep our building spotless, and they do it with a smile on their face. They are probably getting minimum wage from the company that contracts them out to us. Who are we to belittle other people's bread and butter? My two cents.

I respect anyone who works for a living, espeicially those who slave for next to nothing to get by. This is why I suppor the illegal immigrants in this country. They work hard and anyone legal or not who makes an honest living should be applauded. I applaud them. My point is that people are trying to paint a picture of this woman as potentially living in luxury by saying she rejected a promotion for more money and a promotion to janitor probably isn't going to pay all that much. That's all I was saying. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

It's OK I should have included a little less sarcasm and a little more point 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740
