CSI: Warrick is in serious trouble!

omfg did anyone see the last two episodes of CSI?????...the producers just PULVERISED Warricks character, he fell apart in one episode.

He's been implicated in the murder of a stripper, is popping pills, slept with a stripper who then ended up dead in his car with her throat slit! omg

In the latest episode Grissom nearly FIRED him!!, he's on a two week suspension...wow, never seen a character implode sooo fast! sad

Nothing has been said...but considering they seem to be stretching his/this storyline out longer then expected...who knows?

Nothing official has been said, but clearly this storyline has more episodes to run yet. Grissom seems like the man of old, ala series 1..laying down the law and shit eek

Maybe he's tryna hide his hurt at losing Sara neutral

I noticed that CSI has been upping the narrative storyline aspects of the show a bit more in the last year ever since Grey's Anatomy was moved into the same timeslot. While there had always been hints of a narrative storyline (Catherine Willow's stripper past and her strained relationship with her father and ex-husband, Grissom's attraction for the S&M lady, Grissom's secret relationship with Sara Sidle), most of the storylines focused on the crime of the week ala Law and Order, albeit with more gruesome or kinky results. Last year they went with a season-long storyline about the miniature model maker serial killer that nearly killed off the Sara Sidle character, and now Warrick with his gambling/addiction issues. At least it doesn't appear to be tacked on in an apparent effort to try to squeeze higher ratings for the show otherwise, we would have heard already about the show "jumping the shark".

(BTW, for those who don't know, "jumping the shark" is a term that viewers use to determine when a TV show goes permanently, creatively downhill before eventually getting canceled or running its course. The term was coined from an episode of the hit 1970's sitcom "Happy Days", where the Cunninghams and Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli go to Santa Monica beach and are bullied by a boorish surfer dude named the California Kid. He dares Fonzie to water ski over a patch of ocean which just so contains a great white shark. [Of course this was when the movie "Jaws" had come out.] Fonzie takes him up on that dare, and while the surfer dude chickened out at the last second, Fonzie successfully jumped over the shark. It was this episode which had TV critics howling in disapproval, since at the time "Happy Days" was the number one show on television.)
