the movie was ok I guess....I'm still confused about one thing...when he gets caught in the snare...is it one he had set and he had a brain fart or did the infected set it...... I felt it kinda over explained parts of the story and didn't explore other parts deep enough.... I'm still unsure about that part too.

It is smart to KNOW there are LOADS of DUMB people that fall for that shit. The UK movie mag Empire (best in the world, with Premiere in the US) has an article about movies that are made to fool these suckers. I Am Omega ALien Vs The Hunter Transmorphers Snakes On A Train Pirates Treasure Island All mimicking the more famous version. It is a very entertaining read. a-ha!

I actually hated this movie. I thought Will was great in it, but movies with (mainly) one actor don't do anything for me. Also, I am totally opposed to dogs getting injured...

we went to see it today... i think will smith is an incredibly talented actor, the movie was entertaining, however, it was not my favorite movie of his by a long shot. that being said - its a movie that is best on the big screen One of the best days of my life... http://prince.org/msg/100/291111

I won't see this movie because I refuse to see anything with Will Smith in it. It does look like it could be entertaining, though. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

I should have seen this movie this weekend. We saw "The Myst" and that wasn't the slightest bit scary.
It had a lot of semi-complex themes (government, religion, human nature), but the movie was too kludge to make any of them stick out. At it's core it's a psychological thriller desperately trying to incorporate Hitchcock aspects into it, but the special affects were underwhelming as to make the flick unbelievable, and the creatures rendered were less than sinister looking. The ending was different from the typical Hollywood ending though Oh, and Thomas Jane's ass in tight levis is shown mutliple times. MULTIPLE times. Still not a good flick. I think I'll check out "I am Legend" some time this week. I'm really waiting on Alien-vs-Predator-R [Edited 12/16/07 20:53pm]

Will smith was a saucy piece of man meat in there and acted his azzzzz off. The trap was set by the infected, and I think that happened right after smith recorded in his notes that they lost all human reasoning etc. For a second I was wondering if they were chasing will cuz he had that infected chic. I liked the movie...you didn't have to think too much, you weren't grossed out too much, and you were entertained as Will was perfect candy. Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

why? His corny ass makes it impossible for me to view him as anything other than a corny ass. Too many wise-cracking roles in films like the cringe-worthy Independence Day and Men in Black have rendered him intolerable. His scrate-awful "music" career doesn't help, either! I can't actually think of a single thing I like about Will Smith (maybe that novelty song about stealing his fathers porsche back in the day) So the idea of him doing well in a horrible movie is entirely believable to me Le prego di non toccare la macchina per favore!

the movie was ok I guess....I'm still confused about one thing...when he gets caught in the snare...is it one he had set and he had a brain fart or did the infected set it...... I felt it kinda over explained parts of the story and didn't explore other parts deep enough.... [Edited 12/15/07 3:55am] It is my opinion that he set the trap and forgot, he was going kinda nuts (as one would) being all alone and talking to mannequins and shit. When he set up that initial car to catch the zombie for tests, it gave you insight that he had done this before... then when he got caught in the trap, the trap was the same way. Plus, the zombies were already displaying no signs of human thought or planning. |

I think the one "head" zombie who witnessed the "kidnapping" of his zombie girlfriend watched how he trapped her and repeated the trapsetting with his mannequin friend as a lure. That is one smart zombie. |

That is one smart zombie. In the end of the book, the "vampires" eventually rebuild society after the virus mutates. I think that's what the film makers were hinting at. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |
