I don't mind reading them. I find them quite humorous, as most of them present an extremely childish view of international relations and American politics.

Anyone who actually lives IN the US or went to college studying political science could testify that the US government isn't NEARLY competent enough to pull of ANY of this conspiracy bullshit.

It takes but an elementary level of reasoning abilities to discount all of these theories. Addressing such nonsense isn't taking part in an intelligent, "critical" debate; it's giving attention to pseudo-intellectual tripe that's no better than theories about what particular gas station Elvis now works at, how many times your neighbor Bob has been abducted by aliens, how you can unlock the "secrets" of shit like the Celestine Prophecy, or how many animals Noah rescued.

There is a reason why these theories aren't given any attention by the world's true international relations experts. Because they stink like shit! Open up a copy of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, or any number of quality academic journals. You won't find this bullshit there. You have to buy Globe for that fucking crap.

Personally, I LOVE 'em! They are really entertaining. I treat them much the same way I do an episode of The X-Files. They can be quite entertaining, if not taken too seriously.

The media does suck really bad, but the media would DEFINITELY take any chance that they could to destroy the shrubbery... so, the media is not in league with the Bush administration, as 99.999% of all media people voted for Gore.

Richard Nixon faked his death, and is secretly plotting to return to power by sending Islamic terror groups into buildings!! Al Queda is a secret government cloning operation that was started in the 60s, using Islamic fundamentalist as guinea pigs! They have been encoded as Manchurian Candidates, and covertly carry out Tricky-Dick's will! Beware...THE BIG DICK IS RETURNING!!!

What I don't understand is that the mainstream media seems to defend Bush's actions, and in the past media has been very critical of Republican presidents. Is there a reason why the media is so Bush friendly, even though he is a complete nimrod? Are they scared? Obviously, the administration has big power, many television shows and ads have been removed due to their criticism of Bush...Bill Maher's "Politically Incorrect", "Dennis Miller Live" from HBO, and a few others that I can't remember right now, but they are no longer on the airwaves.

Anyhow, this is how I see it.

I can't give you an answer on that... I completely and totally hate the media and NEVER watch commercial television, so I don't even see what they have to say... I just know that the media cannot be controlled by the government. All of the things that I have accidentally seen have been anti-bush, but not blatantly saying that they think that he is the stupidest man ever. They were still against him though... but I really never see any news unless I am at my parents' house or something.

What the King said...

All hail the king...

I've always thought that these theories were giving way too much credit to a leader who is obviously intillectually challenged by the act of tying of shoes - let alone pulling off a conspiracy of this magnitude. This is giving a little too much credit to a government that cannot even consitently keep the roads paved, and to a President who stands before the UN and says the word "Nucular" 50 times in one speech.

Please.
