I think I have only tried weight watchers brand, my mum used to live on that stuff when I was a kid, she probably still does. I used to like it on knäckebröd (or knackerbread as it's called in my house falloff )

This is my kinda of thread. I quite like cottage cheese. In fact, I like the eating of it more than the idea of it. It's tasty on a Ryvita.

I love cottage cheese. I mostly like it plain. It doesn't need a thing added to it. But I'm open to trying something now and again.

In answer to the question, I don't like the taste of cottage cheese, it's a bit to sour for me. I've tried mixing some fruit into the cottage cheese, but still didn't like it. lol Oh well.

I eat cottage cheese pretty much every day. (It's my standard breakfast.)

Usually, I have it with blueberries and raspberries. But my favorite is to mix the cottage cheese with a little Penzey's Fox Point seasoning (which has chives in it), spoon it over a perfectly ripe tomato that has been salted lightly, and sprinkle bacon on the top. drool

gotta try the fresh pineapple chunks with cottage cheese. it's super yummy. i add pineapple AND black pepper, but i realize fruit and pepper isn't everyone's cuppa tea.

Stewed rhubarb is also amazing with cottage cheese. The tartness of the fruit cuts the richness of the curd. Same with homemade cranberry sauce.

How do you feel about cottage cheese?

Personally, I'm a fan. I like it with fresh cracked pepper and pineapple chunks, but I'll eat it plain and like it just fine.

I haven't decided if I prefer large curd or small curd. I really don't think I care. Does it matter?

Anyway, yeah. I really like cottage cheese. I will totally eat it like gangbusters.

Does anyone else have strong opinions on this subject? Does anyone cook with cottage cheese?

I dig cottage cheese, and I eat it with a spoonful of sugar.I know, weird, but the curds turn a little sugary I don't add massive amounts of sugar, but a spoonfull here and there.
