A Sad Sign O' The Times Yahoo has a story on "affordable" jeans for women. That to them means under $100.00. When did $100 become cheap?
I also wonder if women are too dumb to realize we want what is in the jeans and don't give a damn how much they cost,as long as they come off? http://shopping.yahoo.com...-under-100 [Edited 12/3/07 10:39am] Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

And it has little to do with what men think of the clothes. It's how we look in the clothes and how they make us feel. Also - it is next to impossible for me to find jeans I look good in (which is why I almost never wear them) and many women are the same. So once you DO find a pair that works completely you'll spend whatever it costs, within reason. |

I just don't see denim being worth that much money no matter how it is sewn together. I buy alot of worthless crap, but just can't see it for jeans. After they would fall apart in 6 months, I found Levis fit just fine. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. I don't have any "great jeans". I've tried on ones that are great, but they generally start at about $200 and I won't pay that. The ones I have I've spent $30-60 on and are passable, but I have to wear with certain tops and just generally I don't like wearing them anyway. I can see the difference in style and cuts. But everybody's got a different body type. |

I agree..I bought a pair before I left the states for $35. I probably will not buy another pair of jeans until I visit the states again. I am not paying $100 for a pair of jeans. I know...I am told that I am tighter than a lobsters ass.

I like levis too. Levi's fit me the best. The strange thing is that I bought a pair of Levis and then a few months later I bought the same cut/style/size Levis because the other pair fit me so well. The 2nd pair fit me completely different through the thigh area?? Levis are way too expensive here though.

Im thinking about taking them and getting them patched, cause they look all comfy worn now. Its a shame to throw them out.

while I do believe you pay for quality, some shit is ridiculously overpriced just so the wearer can say, "I paid $300.00 for these jeans."...the same jeans will be at TJ Maxx next year for $15.00...

my denim runs between $60-95 (Polo, Kenneth Cole, DKNY, G by Guess)...but I did see a pair that I at the Neiman Marcus outlet store that were on sale from $295 to $145...drew the line on that..... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

I've had a pair of jeans that cost over 200€ (around 300$)
The best, and most comfortable, pair of jeans I've ever had. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

CarrieMpls said: And it has little to do with what men think of the clothes. It's how we look in the clothes and how they make us feel. I've heard this argument for ages. And honestly, I used to be a pretty loud voice in arguing it too. But I've thought about this a lot, and now I really think the whole thing is baseless bullshit. Women pick out our clothes because of how they make us feel, and not what it does to men? Right -so when we're in the dressing room squeezing our butts into skintight jeans that accentuate our curves and play down our lumps n bumps, but are goddamned uncomfortable to wear -as all tighter fitting jeans are -it's because it makes us feel great about ourselves. When we totter around town on 5 inch heels that force our posture to change, thrusting out our asses and tits, it's because it makes us feel great. When we jam our boobies into unnatural positions courtesy of push-up bras, it's because it makes us feel great. When we smear our mouths with gobs of sticky lipstick and gooey lip gloss that tastes awful and fucks up our food, in an effort to mimic sexually aroused labia, it's because it makes us feel great. When we leave our coats open in cold weather to display our tits or off completely for the same reason, it's because it makes us feel great. Don't get me wrong, I love dressing up. I'd wear dresses and heels every day if I could. But I have no problem admitting it's to make people look. If women were to be honest and really choose clothes based on how it makes us feel, we'd have our comfy sweaters and pj pants on 24/7. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"
