I love this show, but I thought last nite was kinda shitty....they're right on the verge of jumping the shark...

Holy crap! Is it me or has this show found it's groove back in a big way. I thought last nights episode was one of the best this season so far. I would have liked it though if the gay couple were a part of it. Maybe the tornado destroyed their fountain.

I was a little perplexed as to how none of those beautiful houses don't have basements, but apparently the story says they don't...or at least that Ms McKlusy was the only one that did. Eveyone else had a "safe spot" in their house...Lynette didn't seem to have one though.

I still think with the plausability (it is Desperate Housewives afterall), it was a great episode that used many different devices and plots to get the varied characters in the situations they were in.

There were a few plots that needed to be dropped. I think in the case of the new couple, there was only so much plot written for them and due to the writers strike, we're not getting more.

See, I found the show to be a tight little masterpiece in its first season, because they kept it simple and didn't add too many characters and lose the ball along the way. They seem to have done that in recent seasons, although season 4 is, on the whole, much better than season 2. A vast improvement.

I do not like how they repeat themselves too often, though. For example, there must be something else for Gabby to do than have affairs and whine about money. And Bree has had one creepy guy after another...and it's old now.

I am ALL ABOUT 'Desperate Housewives'..I loved it from day 1 and this season is so good.

Sadly..last night's amazing 'Tornado' episode was Part 1 of a 2 part cliffhanger. Part 2 has not been filmed due to the big writer's strike and MAY NOT be finished in time for a season finale in May depending on how long the strike lasts.....It may end up opening Season 5....so it'll be a while...but what a good way to keep us guessing.

According to many spoilers...the outcome will be Marc Cherry's 'cruelest' to date regarding who got killed. He was quoted as saying 'the 4 main ladies' are the only safe characters....

Having said that...rumors are flying that Tom or Carlos will not make it out alive.....either would be a very sad loss....but if Tom dies...that would probably set Lynette on a further downward spiral..she's been thru so much in the last year...getting shot, cancer...

The other caualties are said to be Victor and Ida (the old women whose cat ran off and was in the basement with Lynettes family)

I really hope it wasn't Tom. That would be really sad, though I can see that happening and deepening the spiral Lyneete has been going in. At first I thought it was her house and then realized it was her kids and tom. They should have shown one more shot of them in the basement. Wouldn't it be horrible if everyone in that basement died? I don't thinkt hey'd kill all of her kids, but I have seen more dramatic things happen on TV.
