AUSTRALIAN ORGERS, I have a question.

Please tell me this picture is inaccurate and that spiders this big don't just show the fuck up in ur house and chill on the wall. Because I will be very sad if it turns out that I can never come to Australia sad

I've lived in Australia for over a year, and I haven't seen any spiders even remotely that big. I know they do exist here, but I actually think those ones (Huntsman spiders) aren't really dangerous to humans.

It's cool if they exist, but if they could roam into my home or my car, I will have serious problems, regardless of how irrational it would be to fear something that is harmless to me lol

lol ive seen some big spiders, but they are really rare, and yes the Huntsman spiders which im pretty sure thats one that is pictured really arnt dangerous, just big scary looking mo fos

Yeah, up in the Northern (more tropical) states they're definitely that big.

My aunt lives in Queensland (topmost state to the right) and she said one that got into her house was so big she could HEAR it running. Yeah, I would have slept out on the street that night!

There's also heaps of snakes too, my aunt found one in her bathroom.
