Cborg, I don't know you but I am glad to still have a chance to do so, you have much to do so take it easy and do it one step at a time. Don't let yourself become overwhelmed with all that has happened and has to happen, good will come, take time to enjoy every little step in your healing. It will be nice to feel the cool air on your skin in your walks in your neighborhood, until you are able to do so, keep laughing to keep from crying.

And just to think you quit smoking!!! very proud of you!

i cant put into words what i want 2 say- only that u r truly inspiring

one thing about NYC, life there gets so tough, when you have a support system of really good friends nobody ever has to worry about getting kicked out of the city for being broke for whatever reason. MAYBE more than anywhere else, true friends in NYC stick together.

also, the resources for people living with HIV/AIDS are really great in NYC...or at least they were when i was living there and working at the LGBT center helping people find assistance. i hope you're finding all that you need. if not, keep looking...i'm sure it's out there!

Chris, it's not often I read such a long post but I felt compelled to read yours. You seem to have such a positive attitude for someone that has come through so much, and that's incredible. Many would have given up, but thats just it, you *have* come through. I believe in tests, that all of life is a test and that there are many little ones throughout life that you have to pass to get through.

You passed this one, and I for one am in awe of you for achieving that. Best of luck for the future

I'm glad you're feeling better. One of my best friends has this same issue, and it is scary at times. I've only gotten to meet you once, and I expect the next time I do, you WON'T be going outside with the rest of us idiots to smoke.

Stay on the meds. You will survive this, no doubt, because of your strong spirit.
