Target raised prices 10 cents on everything What a bunch of crooks and people whine over Walmart all the time. I went into Target about ot buy me my 1.09 cent cookies and what a surprise. They went up 10 cents to 1.19 cents and then when i went to get chips, they went up 50 cents on that. So I turn around and high tailed out of there. I am not paying 10 cents more for nothing unless i need to!!

Have you looked at the price of gas lately? We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I know! I hate going there. If I have to go there,I make a short list, stick to it and get out! I had a cold and I went to Walmart at 5 am. It wasnt crowded but there were 5 cashiers chit chatting just staring at me while I waited for one of them to check me out. I was sick and cranky. I yelled. "HEllllo! Can I get some service!" "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

But that $.10 goes to support the cruel Chinese sweatshop bosses, and isn't that worth it, really? [Edited 11/26/07 12:35pm] My Legacy

Well there are two solutions to that, aren't there? A)have corporations and chains actually, y'know, train their employees. I work at a big-box chain and the training -or lack thereof, is fucking abysmal. B)have the CEO's pay their employees enough money to actually give a shit about what they're doing. I'm sorry, but if someone's working a wage that amounts to 7 bucks after deductions, they're just not going to try all that hard. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I support and applaud you never going there again, but ya kinda walked into that one. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

Hmmm ~ maybe but the Meijers next door has a great vegetarian section (they are both superstores and are cut throat in competition). I do agree that the wages are dismal and the employees at all of these superstores have to endure a lot from customers and the many chains of command they are forced to jump hoops for but a little hospitality can really brighten the atmosphere of even the gloomiest concrete box.
