Cosmetic Surgery Have you? Will you?
Under what circumstances? If you can afford it? or would you especially save up for it? Is it pre-planned? Something you WILL do in the future? Or is it something you have always wanted to have? Are you in total disagreement with it all, and you believe you should be blessed with what you have naturally, and will age gracefully? Or do you believe there is no harm just correcting a few bits you aren't 100% happy with? Have family members, friends, colleagues had surgery? Any good stories or horrors? Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.

Two of my neighbors, they're sisters, had breast reduction.
They say it changed their lives, no more backaches, can get a bra at any store. They love it. No More Haters on the Internet.

My friend had it done for the same reason, not cosmetic, purely because it was causing so much strain on her back and making her so uncomfortable her posture was damaging her spine. She feels great for having it done. Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.

I don't know if I will ever get cosmetic surgery. I find it a little hard to watch when they show it on Doctor 90210.
There are a few girls at my school with breast implants but I only know three of them...one of the girls looks good with them and then the other two look very fake and a bit tacky. All three of them seem quite happy with themselves, though.

Never. The thought of someone scrapping away at my bones kinda creeps me out. It's like cheating too, if people start to compliment you on certain parts that aren't natural. My mom is in her early 50's and she still doesn't need wrinkle cream. I've never known her to use any. I think I'll have the same luck. So, I know Botox will be out of the question for decades. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

I hate my double chin.
I don't know how to get rid of it. Losing weight will do some, but I had a double chin even when I was at my thinnest in high school, wearing a size 10. It's simply never going away. But if I had the money to do it, there are a million things I'd rather do with it, so I don't imagine I'll ever get it done. |

Damn org! I typed out a long response.... Anyway, to make a long story short I am not against it nor opposed to it in the future. If I want it I'll do it if I don't I won't.

nope. my nose is huge wtf, i don't care. doesn't bother me at all anymore. it'd be easy to have some work done but i doubt very much wether it could make me feel better about myself since i, well, think i'm pretty fly already even with that banana glued to my face and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I'm all for it.
I'd love to tweak my nose just a little and in a few years get rid of the loose skin on my eyelids. Oh, and a little Restylane in fine lines would be cool too.

I don't think that I'd ever get any work done. I don't see anything wrong with aging gracefully. I have my imperfections, but I'm okay with them. I look at my older relatives and I think that they look beautiful, without having any work done and I plan on keeping it real like them when I get older.

They say it changed their lives, no more backaches, can get a bra at any store. They love it. That's one of the only ones that makes sense to me, since it's about practicality and making your life easier, not just vanity. I understand doing other procedures, I should say, I just think it does the opposite of what most people are trying to achieve. To stay young, you need to do as little damage to your body as possible, and surgery is pretty big trauma. My Legacy

I agree, but this is about cosmetic surgery for aesthetic reasons only. Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.

Do you have plans of what you will have first? Or you will wait for all to sag and drop and then book and urgent appointment? I would like to do something about the scars I have from acne but it will probably never happen.
I used to think bigger breasts would be nice but I would never do that. I can think of much better things to spend my money on. I used to want to change my long pointy nose as well but after having surgery on the inside of my nose I do not think I want to do that anymore.... I guess everyone that has to look at me will have to look accept me the way that I am.

I'm a strong believer in "if it ain't broke, then don't fix it", so no plastic surgery for me. Sure I wish my thighs were a bit smaller, that my chin doesn't look fat, and I wish I could get rid of my gut. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I wouldn't want anything radical done, and to change my whole looks, MAYBE just a tweak, but then again I can live without a tweak, and my friends can too. They accept me as I am. I think once you get into it, you can become addicted, and want more and more done, and I would hate to lose my character by a surgeons knife. Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.

I guess I have learned to accept them and cover them up with corrective cosmetics. I see them more as I age.

I think older people are supposed to have wrinkles, but it is sad to be getting them myself! My Legacy
