... I thought I'd post pics from our trip to the Grand Palace in Bangkok. These were taken on the first day we met up with my aunts, who came over for the wedding. This is the first of 3 or 4 sets I'm putting together from the Grand Palace, a day trip to Kanchanaburi, the wedding day, and our honeymoon in Phuket. I need to get all the pics together from all my family (notice only Golf is in these pics, lol - I wasn't really doing people pics), but I thought these would do for now.

Yep, Golf's getting chubby now. After Mon and I came back from Phuket we expected him to have left already (he was supposed to go back on the 11th), but he was still here. Mon's sister told us she had spoken to Golf's mother's family and they'd agreed to let him stay here and start school in Bangkok. The other day he left to go back to Ratchaburi, the agreement being he'd be back in 2 weeks and would stay here. They just called yesterday and said they've changed their minds and he's not coming back.

Wedding shots won't come until I've got all the pics from my family. By the time I have those on-the-day ones I should have the album ones on the computer too. Next up I'll do River Kwae or maybe honeymoon ones.

I just considered them snapshots though, not on the highest quality setting, and just taken on the fly. While my family were over I didn't want to obsess over the pics like I did when I was back in the UK, where I didn't take the time to just enjoy the experiences and the company. A lesson learned.
