? about the end of Crypto written by Dan Brown

I have this question in mind..... If some of u read this book.... Am I the only one getting mad when I discovered how was easy the solution?

It was a good book even If I prefered Angels and Demons...

not groundbreaking but nice book.. still one major problem is that the prerequisite of the whole storyline is simply wrong...

unbreakable code algorithms do exist since almost a century... One-time-pad was introduced in 1917 and is proven to be unbreakable if used correctly

I love Dan Brown's books, but some of the solutions are really easy. Like the one about Isaac Newton in the Da Vinci Code. I think maybe he wants us to feel smart.

But I forget specifically what you're talking about from this book, could you give me a hint?

I was talking about the fact that the characters of the book were convinced that the pass-key was something complicated.... but at the end its the simpliest thing ... a number, 3...

right, I remember now.

Dan Brown tries to manipulate us into thinking stuff is amazing by saying stuff like "her jaw dropped in amazement" over & over. But sometimes it's just mildly interesting lol

But his books are really fun. I can't wait for the next one.
