That's just plain unforgivable.

THANK YOU.

I almost walked out. I cannot believe I let a man whose upper lip looked like a street-sweeper root around in pandora's box like it's a fucking toolbox. It felt like I was being fitted for a Quaker Oats container.

dead

I really liked my last doctor (she was really nice) but my insurance has changed YET AGAIN and I need to find a new one.
I HATE finding a doctor.
I would walk out on Wilford Brimley too.

I asked him what made him want to do this and he laughed. His said he was always fascinated with the human body. Im like well u could've been a cardiothoracic surgeon confused . He just looked at me and said "im more fascinated with the female body. Now sit back" eek

I shut right up and sat back.

damn! eek falloff

no male doctors for me, ever. shake

Me neither!

I went on Monday to a new doctor - she's great...and the women's healthcare center was really accomodating...they actually gave me a cloth gown and had me have the opening in the BACK (not that paper vest some docs make you put on) and had me put a sheet over me from the waist down. I really felt like I had a lot of privacy. It was a good experience smile

falloff He was more Robert Goulet (RIP) or even Mr. Belvedere. Good luck with a new doc--maybe some co-workers have good references?

But I love me some Wilford.

Hi. I'm Wilford Brimley and I have 'Diabetus'. It hurts me to pee and it causes me to be short with my family. I can't sleep at night. The other day I stubbed my toe and I took it out on the dog. And two weeks ago I ran out of vanilla ice cream and struck my wife. Then I find out my wife's been dead for six years. Who the hell did I hit?!
Oh shit, my hat done fell off

My pap tends to smear alot.
Though we all understand that at his age, it's not his fault,
it's still pretty disgustin'.

to my fellow girlie girls who haven't been getting them done...
i was you in my 20's! i had one then wasn't active
so didn't go back. what i underestimated in a big way
was that cancer waits for no one.

if you value your reproductive health and wish to have children...
make sure you have regular exams. it's the only way to make sure things are okay.
yeah it's an uncomfortable pressure, and the removal of cells is unpleasant.
but it only lasts a few minutes and worth it for your health and happiness.

I really don't give a shit about them. The actually swabbing they do is uncomfortable & the pushing on your insides/tummy, but it doesn't take long & we all gotta do it so what the hell shrug & I'm not one of those women only/men only mf's either, just gimme a doctor & get it over with so I can go shopping or something bananadance
heart prince I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it prince heart

I really don't get that bothered by them. It's for my health. It was a HUGE wake up call once the results came in. Now, it's like a part of a ritual. Breast exam, pap smear. I'm already at high risk for cancer as it is. I can't afford to miss one! Uncomfy, yes...lifesaving though.

definately not something i would skip doing...its worth it...and not really that bad...personally i have a male dr, and hes been my dr for years..i work with him..and im completely comfortable with him so i dont prefer to go to some woman that doesnt know me....plus after 2 kids and the ob office has 7 drs and you end up seeing them all through your pregnancy..you get used to male drs poking around down there lol
I'm feelin kind of n-a-s-t-y
I might just take you home with me

I don't need to get them, but I do every year. Uncomfortable, but I still get it done. I had a female GYN for 10 years and she was the most horrible doctor. The thought of her makes me want to choke someone. I am now seeing a male doctor who looks like he is in his 70's or 80's. He's a good old school doctor that is very thorough and is a gyn only, no ob. Love him

I used to hate pap smears until I had to have a transvaginal ultrasound. It felt like I was being fucked with a billy club. Since then, the paps are a piece of cake.

Really? I always thought one should get one to make sure of cancer etc...

Same here. I always thought that it didn't matter if you were sexually active or not, you should still get one. I'm not sexually active and I still get it done every year. hmmm
