Dance tights under pants can keep you pretty warm when it's not quite cold enough for long underwear but it's still pretty cold.


They can look cool with a skirt.

we used to be allowed to wear them cycling to school on winter mornings, but they had to be bottle green to match our uniforms barf but they were a necessity

where I used to live in the countryside it could be between -2°C and +3°C on some mornings as I set off confused

Yea, I had some in the 80's & I will NEVER go back there lol I used to wear them under boots to keep them up b/c my legs were so damn skinny falloff

I used to have pink ones in the 80's that I used to wear to ballet in the winter. Other than that I wasn't a big fan.

I am seriously considering getting some. It's freezing going to and from work, and I can slip them off when I get to the office.

If you are old enough to have worn them the first time, you are too old to wear them now. Same for leggings. Sorry -- but that's the rule.
