SMU Homecoming. Our poor team, which used to be the best team money could buy, was 1 - 7 going into the homecoming game against fellow rich-kid/smart-school Rice. We had lost 2 games in overtime and 2 games on last-second touchdowns. So what happens?

Rice beats us on a last-second fieldgoal. Literally - there was 1 second on the clock.

At least my fraternity won Homecoming Queen and my wife's sorority won First Runner-Up Homecoming Queen. BTW, my wife was First Runner-Up Homecoming Queen XX years ago. Had the Homecoming Queen been unable to fulfill her duties, my wife would have stepped in.

Anyway, the trip wasn't a total loss. Actually, it was the most fun I've had in a long time. I got to eat at Campisis' Saturday night, and brought another pizza home to eat last night.

I see this topic got posted twice. That's what happened to my immortal Radiohead thread. So I'd better save every dang post just in case.

Either that, or purposefully not post anything funny on this thread. Not sure if that's possible, though...
