Legwarmers

Admit it! You had them in the 80's. biggrin

I am seriously considering getting some. It's freezing going to and from work, and I can slip them off when I get to the office.
They have come back but how many of you wear them?

I am not going for the fame look, neon colours or stripey multi coloured full length type, but I saw some really cute ones yesterday, brown tweedy type with buttons up the side, like Prince's button pants. lol I want them.

I think they are alot more about practicality than aesthetic now.

I had a blue pair, but they were bright blue. If I did find them, I doubt I would wear them, unless I could under my boots.

I remember then burgundy was THE colour to wear! lol

Do you wear any now?
At school when it was cold we wore tights and socks on top, so legwarmers now are a must for me. lol

No, I don't have them any more. In my defense they were part of a dance costume, but I still wore them. lol I'm thirty four so I don't know that I'm old, but old enough that I wore leg warmers back in the day. lol

I've never owned legwarmers, by the way. I think it was right before my time, or I was clueless, or both.

How do you even wear them? They're supposed to bag at your ankles, right? Or was that just the 80's?

I think legwarmwers only work if you have legs like these: Edyta Sliwinska..from Dancing with the Stars.

I find leg warmers very sexy on almost any woman´s legs...they compliment the legs and really look cute and sexy, as long as you buy them in the right color ( black, burgundy red, brown, etc.) . I don´t like the flashy ones, like neon or yellow , and I find them quite unsexy when they´re white. It also depends on what you combine them with.

I used to wear them to my dance classes from when I was young all the way through college. I was partial to pink but I had many colors. I don't know how I would feel about wearing them in public. Maybe under some pants if I was freezing.

Dance tights under pants can keep you pretty warm when it's not quite cold enough for long underwear but it's still pretty cold.
