Same. If I ever have a family of my own....etc. New Year's Eve, on the other hand--favorite holiday. New Years Eve is the beginning of a brand new year, so yes, that is exciting. A fresh start. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Make Christmas about Christ and you will want to celebrate it 365 days a year. That's an excellent thought. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Does your cat like to lie under the tree? Mine absolutely loves snoozing under there and chewing on pine needles. She's constantly covered in sap. As soon as we bring it in each year, she runs straight to it. My cats love to climb the tree and to try to drink the water out of the water tray. I have to keep a close eye on them at all times. My parents once had a cat who used to love to lie under the Christmas tree. We used to kid around and say, "Hey, look at the cat that Santa Claus brought us!" He was a real sweet kitty. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Nope, I can't wait. My son is old enough to understand it all this year and I'm moving into a new place right after Christmas (and possibly even before ).
Nothing but good things coming my way this holiday season.

I am dreading it...its so stressful for me, hubby has a BIG family . for the past 4 yrs weve gone to his sisters for a BIG family dinner...about 10 little kids running around screaming, hyper , jacked up on suger
They tear open a gift ...toss it aside then on to the next without even KNOWING who gave it to them!!!! just once id love to stay home & have a QUIET dinner. I was thinking of going to swiss chalet x-mas eve, just for a change? Last yr I made scarves for 4 of my SIL's (I love to knit) so that was cheap for me...maybe you can MAKE something as gifts? go to the $ store...I LOVE the $ store. How about a personalized CD...or photo DVD? a gift certificate for a free backrub? my mum died 3 yrs ago & i always get sad at this time..i miss her alot. Hang in there..just try to appreciate what you have, there are people who are alot worse off~ (((hugs)))

I love the holidays...yes I get a bit stressed out, but I still love them. My parents never really did anything big when I was growing up, so I try and make the holiday season a big deal for my kids!
Wait until next Christmas when my grandbaby is with us! Proud Memaw to Seyhan Olivia Christine ,Zoey Cirilo Jaylee & Ellie Abigail Lillian
