The latest rumor is that Kobe is going to be traded to the Washington Wizards for Gilbert Arenas. Arenas says he was going to opt out of his contract at the end of the season.

Dang, by the title of your thread, I thought the trade had gone down.

The only problem with the trade, is that kobe will get the final say. I could actually see him sitting out for the rest of the season. I think he has his mind set on playing with the bulls, but the bulls don't want to give up their best players to the lakers.

Where is this rumor coming from? I had to drive all day and I was listening to sports radio most of the time. I heard a lot of speculation about a Bulls deal, but not a thing about the Wizards.
